Do you provide a free moving truck?


We do not supply a free moving truck. We prefer to give you better, lowly monthly storage rates. We can provide you with contact information of moving companies we work with.




Are my items safe in storage?


Archibald Storage has the following in place to offer you the best in security:

  • Onsite management
  • Electronic security systems
  • Digital video surveillance
  • You bring your own lock, you retain the only key; no one will ever have access to your unit




How much space will I need?


The amount of space you need relates directly with what you need to store. We have a large variety of unit sizes to fit most needs, starting with our famous units at $1.00 per day.




Can I change unit sizes?


Absolutely! You can increase or decrease your unit size at any time to suit your needs.




How are payments made?


Storage is based on a month to month rental unless otherwise arranged. Payment is due on the first of each month or on the anniversary date of your initial payment. We accept cash, credit or debit. At this time we do not offer automatic debits payments but we can arrange for automatic payments on your credit card. Unfortunately we do not offer cheque payments.

MOVING TIPS

  • Visit a storage facility before choosing to store there.  Getting the feel for a new place is important.

  • Allow yourself plenty of time to pack your storage unit, so you maximize your storage space.  There's no need to rush.

  • Any appliances should be cleaned and dried before being put into storage. Equipment and tools can rust over long periods of time, even in storage. To prevent this, wipe tools with an oily rag.

  • When stacking items, place heavier items, like tables and dressers, on the floor, and lighter, fragile items on top.  Boxes should be stacked the same way.

  • Try to leave room to get to your more important items. If space permits, try leaving a walkway.
